Although Dell hasn’t unveiled yet this latest laptop to the public, Brian Lam of Gizmodo caught a glimpse of the Dell Mini Inspiron, their first mini laptop as he bumped into Michael Dell at All Things D. The mini-notebook shown to him by the American businessman and founder of Dell, Inc., has 3 USB ports, a card reader, VGA out, Ethernet, and a “red candy shell”. According to Brian, Dell’s CEO wouldn’t tell him the laptop’s OS, and even the pricing, although he stated that it’s a low-cost notebook meant for developing countries. Wow!

I just hope it’s true that this is really a low-cost notebook cause developing countries such as the Philippines look forward to the latest portable devices like this on the market. This latest laptop will surely be an Eee PC killer.

Samsung has unveiled its latest 12.1 Inch AMOLED Laptop Concept; comes equipped with a keyboard that has similar keys of a mobile phone. This latest laptop features a thin AMOLED display with 1,280×768 display resolution. Although AMOLED displays are still very expensive in today’s time and it would take a number of years before this latest gadget becomes consumer-friendly. But if your finances are way more than you could imagine then I suggest you get one of these cause LCD displays are soon to be obsolete once AMOLED technology takes over the mainstream market. So it’s advantage on your part if you’re the first one using this new Samsung AMOLED laptop.
