The people at AcidMods did a very good job at hacking the Sony PSP’s hardware and modifying it by adding an external DualShock controller, which interfaces through a single 25-pin connector mounted in the right side of the portable gaming console.

The people at AcidMods did a very good job at hacking the Sony PSP’s hardware and modifying it by adding an external DualShock controller, which interfaces through a single 25-pin connector mounted in the right side of the portable gaming console.

According to AcidMods forum:
The DualShock controls all of the PSP buttons (except for the volume and backlight) and can turn the PSP on and off. The right analog stick has been modified to copy the face buttons (like the razor nub), and L2 and R2 have been mapped to the left and right D-pad buttons (primarily for use in PS1 games, but useful in others as well). The analog On/Off button is used to power the PSP on and off, and the R3 button performs the Home function. All other buttons are self-explanatory.

Well it’s explained already; I leave it for you guys to comment on what they did with the device.

———————————————————————————————————————————————

Playing your Sony PSP can be fun if you have free access to a psp games download resource.

This mp3 player, the Philips GoGear SA28, my fellow gadget geeks is the first of its kind featuring its own Fullsound technology. This product is one of the latest GoGear flash digital audio player available on the market that supports nearly all audible formats like MP3, WAV, WMA with voice recording facilities. So what do we practically mean by a full sound technology? According to Philips definition, a Fullsound Technology is a digital audio algorithm patented by Philips that refines audio output by performing 10 million operations per second to analyze and re-compute the music signal before it is sent to the speaker. This means that FullSound brings out the best of any audio system and delivers more life to the music. So I guess this audio device brings out the best user experience ever. The mp3 player has a 2GB storage capacity and a built-in FM tuner. Well, check out the design it’s kinda’ cool and it’s pricing is very cheap for a cool gadget like this cause it’s sold at $57.

When I saw this cheap USB 3-Port Hub, I couldn’t help but look at my very own 4-Port Hub. It actually resembles mine. Although mine was a lot cheaper and has an extra hub and it only costs $5 dollars when I bought it. USB Hubs are a must have accessory at home or in the office. Good thing this 3-port hub has a couple of PS/2 ports for your old keyboards and mice. Who knows there are still old-style users who prefer PS/2 than USB these days? This cool gadget is sold at $14 dollars a piece.

For only $25, you can now give this as a gift for your colleagues, relatives, and friends. I’d probably get me one of these soon. I need this for my caffeine frenzy. I wonder if there’s a USB mini-toaster for my favorite toasted sandwich?

The FakeTV is one of the coolest gadgets that will come in handy sometimes when you are out of your home at night or in a vacation somewhere in the Bahamas. This anti-theft device will prevent burglars from doing their sneaky habits of entering homes without permission. Since the device emits an array of super-bright LEDs that flicker on and off resembling the light given off by a television, thieves who are on stand-by waiting for the right time to move when you are asleep or not in your own homes will notice that someone is at home watching TV. As a burglar’s instinct, they will pass by your home and look for another one to target.

Video and more FakeTV info after the jump.

FakeTV uses a built-in computer to control super-bright LEDs to produce light of varying intensity and color that light up a room just like a real television does. The light effects of real television programming — scene changes, camera pans, fades, flicks, swells, on-screen motion, and more, are all faithfully simulated by FakeTV… fills a room with color changes, both subtle and dramatic, in thousands of possible shades. FakeTV is completely unpredictable, and it never repeats.

This device may not be 100% accurate in keeping your homes safe when you are out so still practice precautionary measures just to be safe. If you are not satisfied with this cool gadget sold at $50, then buy yourself pit bull or a German shepherd perhaps.

Yes gadget geeks our favorite portable gaming console, the Nintendo DS Lite, comes in various colors. Starting this June, new DS Lite colors will hit the European market; lime green, hot red and ice blue. I don’t know why Nintendo makes DS Lites that come in various colors; maybe it’s part of their marketing strategy to attract consumers to stack out $129.99 in their pocket to replace their old DS Lites (old as in bought 2-3 months ago) and purchase another one. Well if you’re fond of collecting cool gadgets then you might be interested in shelling out a few bucks from your mom or dad and get yourself one.
