NVIDIA GeForce 9800 GTX+

Nvidia GeForce 9800 gtx+

NVIDIA, the world leader in visual computing technologies has just recently announced that their 512MB video card, the GeForce 9800 GTX+ has already been benchmarked and the folks over at PC Perspective have the benchmarks to prove it. The overclocked G92 part built on a new 55nm process technology will sell at a lower price than current 9800 GTX cards available on the market today.

Some specifications of the vidcard include:
• Core clock: 738 MHz
• Shader clock: 1836 MHz
• 512MB GDDR3 Memory: 1100 MHz
• 2- and 3-Way SLI support

This particular product is said to be released on the mid of July and will retail at $229.

My friend Imbacore may have a lot to say about NVIDIA GeForce video card overclocking, since he’s into tweaking his PC’s hardware for maximum gaming experience.

  1. Yo! Shazbot/Imbacore here. That’s one monster you are talking about man! It has reached the 2.2Ghz mark for its memory (effective) speed according to HardwareSecrets! One bad-a$$ m0f0. Let me know when you get the card. (And no, I’ve laid off the overclocking for the timebeing — my new card’s still under warranty.)
